Through the British Engines Apprenticeship Scheme, you will be given full training and support to gain qualifications and hands-on experience as an apprentice at CMP Products.
Launched in 2012, the Apprenticeship+ Scheme (for mechanical engineering) was designed by our parent company British Engines to improve specific skills and offer a wider choice of careers within its businesses. The scheme was the first of its kind in the North East to be accredited by the sector’s professional body; the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Upon completion of the scheme, many of our apprentices enjoy lengthy careers within the company with further training benefits along the way. A number of our previous apprentices also hold senior positions with the company now.
